Steven Bucky Butler’s Ideas For Parody Sketches!

Idea 1: A “Hunger Games” parody scene where it mimics an episode of “Hogan's Heroes” with basically President Snow acting like Col. Klink and Katniss Everdeen acting like Colonel Hogan and we can include references from both shows.

Idea 2: A “Lost” parody where the characters from their show meet the characters fromGilligan's Island” with the humor coming from the fact these two shows are about castaways on an island. One is more serious in nature, while the other is more like a sitcom. But the characters from “Gilligan’s Island” act more rational while the characters from “Lost” act over the top to their situation.

Idea 3: A parody of the ending scene from “Soylent Green”.  It’s revealed by Charlton Heston’s that soylent green is human beings. The characters are cool with it because it’s not the worst part of their crappy overpopulated future. Plus they already knew soylent green was people anyway and they still didn’t care.

Idea 4: A “Beauty and the Beast” ending scene parody where once Belle finds out that the Beast is a handsome prince she’s pissed because now that he’s more beautiful than her and she can’t top that.

Idea 5: A “Lord of the Rings” parody where a Hobbit finds a Green Lantern ring and finds it cooler than the ring from the movie. The characters debate which is better and show off the powers of each ring. Basically, that the ‘one ring’ only turns you invisible while the Green Lantern ring does a lot of stuff that’s more helpful.

Idea 6: Alf and Mork (Mork & Mindy) become roommates after they get kicked out of their respective sitcom family’s houses and find each other annoying, but who is the more annoying one?

Idea 7: Sonic the Hedgehog & Mario find themselves out of place in the video game Gears of War. Now these two out of place characters are in a hardcore first person shooter game, while they came from fun family type video games and they’re not used to being in this environment.

Idea 8: A death metal singer performs in a lighthearted Broadway musical.

Idea 9: Willy Wonka holds a shareholders meeting after the end of the movie where he announces that Charlie Bucket is taking his place as head of the company. They’re confused and pissed off for a number of reasons; like Charlie having never worked in the candy industry before, the string of recent lawsuits against the company after the events of the movie, some jokes could be that the Oompa-Loompas could either be slaves, illegal immigrants, or they could just be midget actors all along.

Idea 10: A parody of a serious movie (any will do) that slips in gags from a Monty Python-like sketch or that one or two of the characters act very Monty Python like.

Idea 11: A “Avengers 2” parody of the scene where they try to pick up Thor’s hammer, but then some random new character, not from any of movies is able to pick it up and gloats about it.

Idea 12: Another “Avengers” parody where Thor realizes that he’s the most powerful member because he’s an immortal god. He’s a god, so he thinks he can do all the jobs of the other Avengers.

Idea 13: The Island of Dr. Phil, which is a parody of The Island of Doctor Moreau. Instead of animal people and Dr. Moreau, Dr. Phil is the doctor and the monsters are people who appeared on his show like people trying to lose weight, drug addicts, teenagers, etc. Edward Prendick, the shipwrecked Englishman, from the original story is there and is still scared. Instead of the animal people scaring him, it’s more like people who were featured on Dr. Phil.

Idea 14: A “Five Nights At Freddy’s” parody but instead of it being at pizzeria like in the original game, its take place at Disneyland. The killer animatronic characters will be Disney characters and they could actually be friendly instead of homicidal. The night guard is still scared of them even though they’re singing It’s A Small World and Mickey Mouse wants to be his friend or something.

Idea 15: A “Star Wars” parody that is about the force being a real person but he’s really stupid and crazy. A possible twist ending could be is that he’s just a crazy hobo jedi who thinks he’s the force!

Idea 16: A parody of The Godfather. Instead of it being a crime drama, it’ll be an 80’s sitcom about the Corleones with scenes from the Godfather becoming more sitcom like but yet still dark.

Idea 17: A Jurassic Park/The Flintstones parody scene which kind of mimics the Idea 2 sketch of A Lost/Gilligan's Island but the general idea is that the cast of Jurassic Park are not only running away from the dinosaurs but The Flintstones as well.

Idea 18: Lucky Charms commercial parody where the leprechaun is a drunk and wants to fight the kids. He tells them he’s not like that sissy Trix rabbit. Which means you won’t want to steal cereal from this leprechaun.

Idea 19: A World Wildlife Fund commercial parody featuring World Wrestling Federation Entertainment wrestlers talking about protecting wildlife from becoming Endangered species in a wrestling interview style. The main joke is the wordplay of both groups using WWF as their initials.

Idea 20: A parody of the Jared jewelers commercials where they say ‘he went to Jared’, but while everyone is talking about the fact ‘he went to Jared’, they’re ignoring the fact that a young couple is getting married.

Idea 21: Clifford the Big Red Dog attacks Japan but unlike Godzilla is much friendlier and yet the citizens are still afraid of him.

Idea 22: Dora the Explorer crosses paths with Pablo Escobar, but this sketch will act out like a regular episode of the show, with more adult themes and maybe Swiper the fox could be a drug addict and when Swiper tries to swipe from Escobar he shoots him.

Idea 23: Sesame Street becomes a bad neighborhood even though some of the characters still act like they always do well some now sell drugs or commit other urban-based crimes.

Idea 24: A parody of Cinderella that shows what life is like after the events of the movie and the characters realize they got married after only knowing each other for one day.

Idea 25: The Beatles once said they were bigger than Jesus, but what if they had his powers too? The sketch takes place at a press conference where The Beatles are apologizing for saying they were bigger than Jesus. But while John Lennon is making his apology, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr show off Jesus Christ like powers during the conference like turning water into wine, making a lot of fish and bread and other historical miracles Jesus did. Also John is saying stop using your powers during the conference and the press doesn’t seem to notice what’s really going on.
