“Cameraman” An Ongoing Comic Book Series!
Issues 1-5: The Origins of Cameraman
· Hank Hunter, a 20 something local TV cameraman, is filming an interview with Lester BarnSwallow who is Hank’s brother-in-law and the Action City chief of police. Hank is jealous of Lester’s success while Lester is worried about Hank.
· Hank Hunter tired of being merely a local TV cameraman seeks fame through his UsVideo channel but yet his latest videos haven’t gotten many views.
· Hank Hunter, his roommate Darrell, and Hank’s mutant lobster man friend Claws film a battle between the superhero Goddiess and the super villain Red Rhino so they can upload it to Hank’s UsVideo channel.
· After uploading the battle between Goddiess and Red Rhino, the video goes viral and Hank decides to film more superhero battles for his UsVideo channel because of the video’s success.
· Hank’s videos attract the attention of three fame seeking superheroes Ms. Icon, U Tucker and Deerman who would later befriend Hank and become loyal allies.
· Hank’s videos also attract the attention of super villains including Dr. Hurt who studies Hank’s videos in order to find ways to defeat his superhero foes.
Issues 6-: Villain of the Week Battles
· Hank Hunter and his friends fight the Russian super villain Ivan the Crusher in an abandon warehouse. After defeating Ivan the Crusher, Hank later discovers Ivan the Crusher has been given a drug by Dr. Hurt that once injected into the body gives the user the ability to heal rapidly.
· Hank Hunter and his friends also fight The Cartoon King, a super villain that is basically a living cartoon character. Hank later learns that The Cartoon King was an animator with a struggling UsVideo channel and after a freak accident at a chemical factory mutated him into a living cartoon character along with the fact that The Cartoon King was jealous of Hank’s success.
· Hank Hunter discovers his wife Liz secretly turns into the monstrous super villain, Red Rhino, at night. Red Rhino is a spilt personality of Liz Hunter. When Liz transforms into Red Rhino she literally becomes a different person with a darker more beastly side being unleashed.
· Hank Hunter and his talking pet Miniature Schnauzer Toby fight the super villain Dr. Duck, a test lab animal that mutated into a super powerful telepath duck humanoid creature.
· Even though he never quite seems to stop Dr. Hurt, Hank Hunter continues to film superhero battles and slowly he becomes a better person over time giving the money he earns from his UsVideo channel to charity while continuing to work as a local TV cameraman as his main income. Along with Hank finally learning what it means to be a hero himself.
