The Origin of Stretch Man: Part 1

Jack Capper, who is the current CEO of Henry Q. Corp, is one of the richest people of the world. But Jack Capper has a secret, he is the superhero Stretch Man. Stretch Man has the power to stretch his body to extreme lengths and his body is basically rubber. Stretch Man can also shapeshift into anyone or anything. The Gifted want Stretch Man to join their team, but they had to find him first. Dr. Laser, Ms. Giant, and Dr. Strong went looking for Stretch Man to see if he could become a member of the team and as well as study his amazing powers. Now we go to a bank robbery where The Gifted arrive on the scene. The leader of the bank robbers was none other than The Gifted’s old foe Badger Man. The Gifted started fighting the bank robbers when from out of nowhere Stretch Man appeared. “Halt villains, Stretch Man is here to save the day,” yelled Stretch Man. “What is this a hero convention or something? Get’em,” yelled Badger Man. Then our heroes started fighting the bank robbers. Suddenly at superfast speed, The GreenSpeed made his return. “Oh hell yeah, it’s a hero team up event. I’m here to help,” yelled The GreenSpeed. Our heroes defeated the bank robbers with the aid of Stretch Man and The GreenSpeed. Badger Man and his henchmen were handcuffed and taken by the police. The Gifted, The GreenSpeed, and Stretch Man saved the day. As The Gifted and The GreenSpeed were celebrating, Stretch Man was about to leave before Dr. Strong stopped him from doing so. “Hey, Stretch Man, can we talk to you about something?” asked Dr. Strong. “Sure, we heroes can talk,” said Stretch Man in a scared tone of voice. “We wanted to see if you would like a full-time job with The Gifted. We can use a guy like you on the team. We like to study your powers too,” said Dr. Strong. “I would like to join The Gifted…wait…did you say study my powers? What do you mean by that,” asked Stretch Man. “Why, we would like to study your skills and help you control your powers. I would need a DNA sample and…,” said Dr. Strong. “Sorry, but I have to go,” cried Stretch Man. Then Stretch Man fled the scene. “Something doesn’t feel right about Stretch Man. We better talk to him and find out whose side he’s on,” said Dr. Strong. “I’m on it,” yelled The GreenSpeed. Then The GreenSpeed started following Stretch Man. Soon The GreenSpeed caught Stretch Man and then tied his rubbery legs and arms together. “Let’s take you back to headquarters shall we,” said The GreenSpeed. And off our heroes went to The Gifted headquarters. Soon The Gifted took Stretch Man against his will back to the headquarters to study his powers. Dr. Strong took a DNA sample of Stretch Man’s DNA, and he found a shocking discovery. “You guys, Stretch Man has chemical G1 in his DNA. But that isn’t all, the chemical G1 in his body is about as old as ours, and that means…,” said Dr. Strong. “That means, that Stretch Man must have gotten his powers the same day as we did,” said Dr. Laser. “But how could Stretch Man have been with us the day we got our powers, it was only the three of us who were in the lab,” said Ms. Giant. “Look, you guys, I know who you all really are,” said Stretch Man. Then The Gifted were in shock as Stretch Man pulled up a chair and sat down. “You know who we are, how do you know,” asked Dr. Strong. Soon Stretch Man told The Gifted that he worked in the same lab building as janitor when the explosion of chemical G1 occurred. 

Then he was knocked out cold and soon he saw that he survived the explosion as he soon discovered he had gotten superpowers. Stretch Man learned how to use his powers and then became a superhero himself. Stretch Man also told The Gifted that his real name is Jack Capper and he’s the current CEO of Henry Q. Corp. “Wait, you’re Jack Capper, but if you worked as a janitor, how did you get to work for a company you know nothing about,” yelled Dr. Strong. “Look I lied to Henry Q. okay. I told him I was an ex-engineer when I’m just a high school dropout,” said Stretch Man. “You knew nothing about technology and lied about your entire life. But why?” asked Ms. Giant. “So that I could start a new life and to get closer to Henry Q. to spy on his world domination schemes. But I would like to be a member of your team if you don’t tell the world who I really am,” said Stretch Man. “Your secret is safe with us, welcome to the team, Stretch Man,” said Dr. Strong. Then Dr. Strong and Stretch Man shook hands. Now Stretch Man has joined The Gifted, but will his true identity come out? I guess we’ll see! Stretch Man was now a member of The Gifted and soon The Gifted welcomed another new member, The GreenSpeed. Soon The Gifted would fight an old foe again, Dr. Hurt. Dr. Hurt was now in a wheelchair, had third degree burns, a tube in his neck, and he now talked with the aid of a computer. Dr. Hurt wanted revenge on The Gifted for nearly killing him. Dr. Hurt had his henchmen start a chain of bank robberies to lure The Gifted to his headquarters. Soon our heroes followed Dr. Hurt’s henchmen back to Dr. Hurt’s headquarters, but it was a trap. The Gifted were all tied up and held hostage by Dr. Hurt. “Well, well, well, The Gifted our here. Now I can finally get my revenge on you assholes for turning me into a freak,” said Dr. Hurt. “Who the heck are you,” yelled Dr. Strong. “Don’t you remember good old Dr. Hurt. The guy you left to die in the burning building,” said Dr. Hurt. “Dr. Hurt, you’re still alive. What are you up to now?” yelled Dr. Strong. “I’m going to kill all of you and then from your dead bodies I will suck out your chemical G1 and injected into myself which will make me more powerful,” said Dr. Hurt. “Not if we can stop you,” yelled The GreenSpeed. Then The GreenSpeed freed himself and the rest of The Gifted. They started fighting Dr. Hurt’s henchmen, and then they defeated all his henchmen. “Alright Dr. Hurt, we took out your henchmen. Now either you turn yourself in or we’ll turn you in,” yelled Dr. Strong. “Never, I’m going to blow us up to hell” yelled Dr. Hurt. Then Dr. Hurt pressed a button on his computer which detonated a bomb. “We have 35 seconds before the bomb goes off,” said Dr. Hurt. “Team, we have to stop the bomb,” yelled Dr. Strong. “I’m on it,” yelled The GreenSpeed. Then The GreenSpeed using his superspeed, went looking for the bomb, and he soon found it hidden inside a closet. “I found the bomb. But I don’t know how to turn it off,” said The GreenSpeed. “Let me give it a try,” said Stretch Man. Then Stretch Man grabbed the bomb from The GreenSpeed and ran outside with the bomb as he threw it up into the air. The bomb soon exploded up in the sky and no one was harmed. “No, you assholes, I hate you,” yelled Dr. Hurt. “Now it’s time for you to go to the slammer, Dr. Hurt,” said Ms. Giant. “If I can’t live as a normal man. Then I’ll die as a freak,” yelled Dr. Hurt. Then Dr. Hurt tore out his breathing tube and as Dr. Hurt died a slow death. Dr. Strong tried to save him, but to no avail. “Come on, let’s call the police. Mission accomplished,” said Dr. Strong. Soon the police were called onto the scene, and they arrested Dr. Hurt’s henchmen. An ambulance took Dr. Hurt to the morgue. It looks like Dr. Hurt is finally died…or is he?
