The Cast of Comic Strip Carl’s Review Show

Comic Strip Carl has one major goal in life, he wants to be a professional comic strip artist and will do anything to achieve it. He prays to the pantheon of The Comic Strips Gods every day and in return they offer him things to review. Comic Strip Carl must do three things to join the pantheon of The Comic Strip Gods himself. He must win the World Comic Book Artist Championship at least once, destroy The Order of Comic Book Destroyers, and find the perfect corn chip. For now, he must review the work of The Comic Strip Gods and learn from their failures to one day achieve his goals.

Alan Alligator is the talking alligator and Carl’s pet. Alan is Scottish and very proud of it. Alan’s main goals in life is to eat, sleep, and crap. Alan likes to go a walkies, swim in the swamp, and scare the neighbor’s dog. But in the end overall he’s just a simple-minded alligator.

Smokey the Pipe is a living and talking pipe. Smokey claims he was previously owned by Lee Falk, William Randolph Hearst, Walt Disney, and Jack Kirby. Smokey gives decent advice to Carl and if Carl smokes Smokey, he is given the knowledge of his previous owners. Smokey’s goal is to end up in a museum and finally retire.

Marlon is Carl’s laptop, video editor, co-writer, and makeup artist. Marlon was once a washed-up drama theater actor until he died an unfortunate death. In the aftermath of Marlon’s death, his soul is now stuck inside a laptop which made immortal and cannot die. Marlon used to own Smokey the Pipe back in the day too. Marlon can be dramatic at times, but when he is you can at least shut him down.

Monstrous Red is the mysterious leader of the secret society known only as The Secret Order of Comic Strip Destroyers. Monstrous Red is loyal to his order’s cause will destroy any comic strip he sees, be it good or bad. Monstrous Red is a skilled hacker, forger, and hibachi chef. Monstrous Red was trained in the art of destroying comic strips by his mysterious mentor known only as Rod Fible whose identity remains a mystery even to Monstrous Red. He does know that his mentor Rod Fible worked as a comic book artist in the industry, but he was a terrible at it. What Comic Strip Carl doesn’t know is the Monstrous Red is his long-lost evil twin brother and his opposite. So comic strip lovers beware, Monstrous Red and his secret order are coming to destroy all our comics!
