Our
story is set in the year 2072 after a nuclear war ravaged the world. In this
future there is no longer governments…there is no longer businesses…and there
is no longer hospitals. The world is now nothing but a wasteland where the few
who were lucky to survive the nuclear war formed small somewhat olden-like
towns. Picture the life of the survivors as a horrible one, not a lot of
healthcare, not a lot of food, and the hardest item to find…water. Also since
nuclear war ravaged the world some survivors became cannibalistic mutants. But
our story is about a certain survivor who grew up in what is now known as the
before times, the times before the nuclear war ravaged the land. This certain
survivor only goes by the name Jake and Jake is not only probably the world’s
oldest man…but Jake is what this new world calls…The Last Storyteller. Jake’s
life is nothing but traveling around the wastelands looking for survivors, Jake
has been kicked out of many towns and he has seen many horrible things. But the
saddest thing in Jake’s life is that he has seen all of his loved ones die, but
he never died himself. Jake found a way to live longer which you’ll soon find
out later how he does. Now we go to Jake who made his way to a small community
of survivors who guard there town with great authority. Jake walked up to the
entrance and he saw two big guards with big guns guarding the entrance. “Who
are you old man,” said one of the guards. “My name is Jake…I wish to live in
this place…I have nowhere else to go,” said Jake. “Sorry old man, but we only
let the young in here,” said one of the guards. “Would you two like to hear a
story,” said Jake. “What the hell…wait are you the last storyteller guy…I
thought that was just a myth…please come and share your great stories with us,”
said one of the guards. “Thank you…my stories are the best,” said Jake. Jake
then entered the village and the guards search him. The guards found primitive
technology on Jake like an iPod Touch, a cell phone, a can of spray paint, and
a newspaper from 1/1/2016. Why Jake had a newspaper from 1/1/2016 we’ll never
know. Oh I forgot to mention a fun little fact about Jake’s stories. Jake
wasn’t very imaginative and the stories Jake tells come from old movies, books,
and TV shows Jake grew up with in the before times (because most of the
survivors never grew up with TV, movies, or even books). Jake also loves to
share his music from his iPod Touch with people he tells stories to. Now Jake
found a new place to live…for now!
