“HULK AT A FUNERAL HOME” SKETCH PITCH (SECOND CITY CLASS)!

“HULK AT A FUNERAL HOME” SKETCH PITCH!

It’s a sad day for The Hulk. His little brother died today. At his funeral, The Hulk is giving a eulogy for his little brother. The Hulk’s little brother happens to be WWE wrestling legend Hulk Hogan (the sketch’s main joke is that their both named Hulk so that could explain how they may be related). To sum it up, the sketch is a monologue themed around The Hulk’s eulogy for his brother, Hulk Hogan. The Hulk talks very Hulk like, very stupidly and child like. In the eulogy, The Hulk mentions other superheroes and wrestlers who showed up to pay respect to their fallen friend.  These friends are background characters. The Hulk mentions how much the brothers have in common with each other.  For instance, both wore colors unique to them and they both ripped their shirts off.  Throughout, The Hulk has fits of crying. The sketch will end with The Hulk saying he’ll avenge his brother’s death, but in reality his brother just died of natural causes so there really is no one to blame. When he hears someone at the funeral mention Hulk Hogan died of cancer, he thinks it’s some sort of super villain he needs to stop. There even could be a part where The Hulk says his brother was not a racist because The Hulk has green skin. The Hulk says his brother Hulk Hogan would not hate people of color because he loved his brother, Hulk.
