Bad Spotty (Short Story Version)!

Spotty has been the hero of every story he’s starred in…but, what if he was the bad guy instead of the good guy? For the first time ever…Spotty will now be the bad guy…but why? Our story begins when Spotty, Spotty Jr., and Heather (Spotty’s Daughter) were eating dinner together as a family when Spotty got a phone call from his scientist friends Michael and Jordan. “You want me to test what…sorry guys I’m kind of having dinner with my family so maybe later…see you later,” said Spotty over the phone. “What was that all about dad,” asked Heather. “Oh it was just Michael and Jordan they wanted me to test their new time machine but I told them it was family time,” said Spotty. 

“I don’t really care if you leave for the night pops,” said Heather. “Right because you want dad gone so you can throw a party while he’s gone,” said Spotty Jr. “Shut up you little nerd,” yelled Heather. “Hey dad…remind me to call Michael and Jordan they said they would help me with updating my search engine,” said Spotty Jr. “You have your own search engine…why aren’t you like an internet billionaire or something,” asked Heather. “Because basically those Google bastards rule the world…but one day I’ll make billions and be rich,” said Spotty Jr. “Look kids…money isn’t everything in fact when me and Coyote were friends Coyote offered me 50% of Coyote Corp stock…we could have been billionaires,” said Spotty. “Wait…you had a shot at being rich and you foolishly turned it down…why,” asked Spotty Jr. “Yah, what are you an idiot or something,” asked Heather. “Look guys…I had my reasons for not taking Coyote’s offer…but I’m happy just the way I am…you guys help me clean up the dishes and stuff then it’s off to bed,” said Spotty. “What are we five,” asked Heather. “Don’t talk back or your grounded,” said Spotty. “Dad…Heather already is grounded…since she’s a Goth and all I think she doesn’t get the feeling of punishment,” said Spotty Jr. “I feel nothing nerd….now let’s clean up so I can just stop hanging out with you guys…man you two are so annoying, no wonder I think about suicide,” cried Heather. 

After he finished cleaning up, Spotty Jr. headed back up to his bedroom. Spotty Jr. soon came up with an idea. “Wait…Michael and Jordon have a time machine…if it works I can go back in time…tell my dad to invest in Coyote Corp…we’ll be rich…but how do I leave the house…,” asked Spotty Jr. to himself. Spotty Jr. secretly left his room and he soon headed to Michael and Jordon’s office to see if he can use their time machine. Spotty Jr. then told Michael and Jordon his idea. “Alright Spotty Jr., we’ll let you use our time machine…but remember…since you may change the future don’t change too much or else you’ll face the consequences,” said Michael. “Okay…take me back in time,” said Spotty Jr. Spotty Jr. then stepped inside Michael and Jordon’s time machine and soon Spotty Jr. was in the past. Spotty Jr. was in the 80’s when his dad and Coyote were in college. “Time to get rich,” said Spotty Jr. to himself. Will Spotty Jr. change the future so he can be rich? A better question is will Spotty Jr. change the future too much!

Spotty Jr. soon saw Coyote and his dad Spotty talking to each other. Spotty Jr. overheard their conversation and that conversation was Coyote offering 50% of Coyote Corp stock to Spotty. “So Spotty…what do you say,” asked Coyote. “Well…,” said Spotty. Spotty Jr. then went tapped his dad’s shoulder. “Hey buddy…I’m from the future and I want you to take Coyote’s offer…,” said Spotty Jr. “But what if Coyote buys me out if I accept,” asked Spotty. “Then you buy out his stock,” said Spotty Jr. “Buy out Coyote’s stock…how much will it cost me,” asked Spotty. Spotty Jr. then gave his dad some money. “This money plus your savings will be enough to buy out Coyote…now do it…you’ll be rich,” said Spotty Jr. “Okay…I’ll buy out Coyote future man…but I don’t think that it’s a good idea,” said Spotty. 

Soon Spotty bought Coyote’s share in Coyote Corp and now Spotty was the owner of Coyote Corp. When Spotty Jr. returned to the future…it was a very different place. “What the…,” said Spotty Jr. to himself. Michael and Jordan’s office building was abandoned and Spotty Jr. then left the building. Spotty Jr. then headed home but along the way…he saw something different. Spotty Jr. saw a billboard that advertised a company called “Spotty Corp”. “My dad owns Coyote Corp…my plan worked…I’m rich,” said Spotty Jr. to himself. 

When Spotty Jr. came home he saw Coyote, Beardy, and his mom Penny Greyhound sitting together and having a conversation. “Coyote…what are you doing in my house,” cried Spotty Jr. “Kid….who the heck are you,” asked Coyote. “I’m Spotty’s son…and mom…what are you and Beardy doing hanging out with Coyote,” asked Spotty Jr. “I’m not your mom kid…and since when did Spotty have a son,” asked Penny Greyhound. Spotty Jr. then saw a small package on the doorstep. “It seems you guys have mail…I think it’s a clock because its ticking,” said Spotty Jr. “I didn’t order a clock,” said Coyote. “Crap it’s a bomb…through it out of here kid,” screamed Beardy. Spotty Jr. then threw the bomb out of the house and it blew up. “That most be Spotty again…why does he want to kill me…I mean that bastard bought my company what else does he want from me,” said Coyote. “He used to be so nice…but since he became the bad guy things have changed,” said Penny Greyhound. Spotty Jr. was in shock, not only was Spotty the head of Coyote Corp (which is now called Spotty Corp) but now Spotty Jr. realized he was never born. “My god…not only was I never born…but my dad is now the bad guy…what have I done,” cried Spotty Jr. Spotty Jr. changed his future and now…Spotty Jr. wants to turn everything back to normal. But Spotty Jr. didn’t know how he can make things right again. After all…Spotty Jr. lost his time machine…but he knew where he can find one!

Spotty Jr. soon headed to Spotty Corp headquarters and then he entered his dad’s office. “Who the heck are you kid,” yelled Spotty. “I’m your son from an alternative future,” said Spotty Jr. “Wait…I remember you…you told me to buy out Coyote’s share…thanks to you I’m now miserable,” said Spotty. “What do you mean…why do you hate Coyote so much…I mean you’re like a billionaire, why do you have a grudge with him,” asked Spotty Jr. “I’ll tell you why…the old saying is true…money doesn’t buy happiness…Coyote stole my girlfriend…stole my best friend…and he has a family…what do I have…a freaking criminal record and people bugging me for my money…I hate being rich…I want Coyote’s life,” cried Spotty. 

“Look…if you have a time machine I can give you the life you deserve, you can be the happy one and not the bad guy,” said Spotty Jr. “I do have a time machine…but why do you want to change my future,” asked Spotty. 

“Because, one, I want to exist…and two, you’re my dad and I only want you to be happy…now can I use your time machine,” cried Spotty Jr. “Sure…follow me kid,” said Spotty. “Not so fast,” yelled a mysterious voice. Spotty Jr. turned around and saw Coyote standing with a rifle in his hand. “Coyote…why are you here with a gun,” asked Spotty Jr. “I overheard your conversation and I don’t want you to change this future…I love my life and you can’t let that bastard Spotty have what’s mine,” cried Coyote. “Kid, the time machine is ready….I’ll handle Coyote you go to the past and make things right…and thanks…nobody’s ever cared about me,” said Spotty. Spotty then began to fight Coyote. Spotty Jr. then went into the time machine and soon Spotty Jr. was back in the timeframe in which he changed the future. Spotty was about to hand the money to Coyote to buy out his share when Spotty Jr. stepped in between them. “Spotty don’t give Coyote the money…don’t buy Coyote Corp or get rich…listen to your gut…,” cried Spotty Jr. “Who ever you are, you’re right….sorry Coyote but you can have those shares…I don’t think your company will last…I need to continue my studies and gradate college…have fun running Coyote Corp without me,” said Spotty. Spotty then left and Coyote looked shocked. “What an idiot…I guess all the money will be mine,” said Coyote. Spotty Jr. then returned to the future and everything was back to normal. Coyote was the bad guy and Spotty was the good guy. Spotty Jr. may not be rich…but he realizes that money doesn’t buy happiness and that he had a good life all along. And they all live happily ever after!
