Long
ago in a far away land there were two empires that were at war. One empire only
wanted peace….while the other only wanted power. One empire was ruled by an
emperor named Lion…but Emperor Lion wasn’t the true evil one. Emperor Lion’s
top general who is known only as The General was the true mastermind. The
General was plotting a huge takeover of the world…and Emperor Lion had no idea
of The General true intentions.
Our story begins when the peaceful empire’s
emperor Fo-Pong and his wife welcomed a son. But, that son would not know his
true destiny because sadly fate would intervene. One horrible night, Fo-Pong
and his wife were killed by The General’s soldiers and The General soldiers
kidnapped Emperor Fo-Pong’s son. But before The General’s soldiers could kill
the son of Emperor Fo-Pong…he would be saved by three thieves.
Those three
thieves were named Spotty, Binky Bear, and Stork. The three thieves robbed The
General’s soldiers and then they killed them. “Alright, let’s head
back….hey….look it’s a baby,” said Spotty. Stork picked up the baby. “Whose
baby do you think it is,” asked Binky Bear. “Guys we can’t just leave it
here…let’s take it back to the hideout,” said Stork. “Hold it…would Mr. Big
like us to bring a baby back to the hideout,” said Spotty. “We have no
choice…let’s head back to the hideout,” said Stork. Spotty, Binky Bear, and
Stork took Fo-Pong’s son with them to their hideout. Mr. Big who was the leader
of a gang of thieves soon decided that they would raise the child. “What should
we name this baby,” asked Binky Bear. “Let’s name him Ryū, after the greatest
thief in the world,” said Spotty. So now Emperor Fo-Pong’s son has a new name Ryū
and Ryū was raised by Mr. Big and his gang of thieves. Many years would pass
and Ryū grew up to become a strong young man. Ryū grew up not knowing he was
royalty and he lived the life of a thief. Ryū yet loved his life as a thief and
he dreamed of one day he would become a big crime lord like Mr. Big himself.
But Ryū would soon find out who is really is…because fate would intervene once
again!
Many
years have passed since the deaths of Emperor Fo-Pong and his wife. Fo-Pong’s
empire would soon be enslaved by The General. But Fo-Pong’s royal adviser and
his royal wizard began to plan a rebellion against The General and Emperor
Lion. Fo-Pong’s royal adviser Mr. Raccoon began building an army while
Fo-Pong’s royal wizard Beardy heard some good news. “Mr. Raccoon…he’s alive,”
cried Beardy. “Who is alive, Beardy,” asked Mr. Raccoon? “My friend Spotty told
me that he and his friends raised Fo-Pong’s son, Fo-Pong’s son is named Ryū,” said Beardy. “Who is
your friend Spotty anyway,” asked Mr. Raccoon. “Spotty is a thief,” said
Beardy. “Fo-Pong’s son has been raised by thieves…why did you not bring him
back here,” cried Mr. Raccoon. “Because…Spotty only figured out recently who
Ryū really was,” said Beardy. “How did Spotty figure out he raised the
emperor’s son since the day he was born,” asked Mr. Raccoon. “Because as Ryū
got older he began to look more like his father,” said Beardy. “Beardy, bring
him back here right now….he needs to fulfill his destiny,” said Mr. Raccoon.
Beardy nodded and then Beardy headed to Mr. Big’s hideout to bring back Ryū.
Now we go to Ryū who has just finished robbing a rich couple and he then went
to Mr. Big’s office to give him the money he stole from the rich couple. “Here
Mr. Big…I have the goods,” said Ryū. “That’s my boy… Ryū you’re like the son I
never had,” said Mr. Big. “Anyway….did you name your heir to your crime
organization,” asked Ryū. “I have had some thoughts about who will be in charge
when I die…but I ain’t dead yet so basically get back to robbing,” yelled Mr.
Big. Now we go to Ryū eating lunch with Mr. Big’s gang members Spotty, Binky Bear, Stork, Hawk, Deer,
Mole, Pigeon, and Cool Fox. “So who did you guys rob today,” asked Deer. “I
stole some old lady’s purse…and another pair of sunglasses,” said Cool Fox. “I
stole a food cart and that’s how I got our lunch,” said Hawk. “I didn’t steal
anything today…I wasn’t lucky,” said Binky Bear. “We stole some chickens,” said
Stork and Pigeon at the same time. “I stole a sword from some soldier…here Ryū think of this as an
early Christmas present,” said Spotty.
Spotty then handed Ryū the sword. “So Ryū
do you still want to be a samurai,” asked Mole. “Nah, I want to be a crime lord
like Mr. Big,” said Ryū. Everyone in the room soon went silent. “What, we’re
all thieves….didn’t you ever want to be your own boss,” asked Ryū. “Look…we
don’t think you should be a crime lord,” said Spotty. “Why not,” asked Ryū. “No
reason…it’s just that most of us here didn’t want to be thieves in the first
place…we had no choice,” said Deer. “And we didn’t come from rich families like
you either,” muttered Cool Fox. “What did you say Cool Fox...did you say I had
a rich family...,” asked Ryū. “No…we’re your family silly…we raised you…should
we tell him,” asked Cool Fox. “Tell me what,” asked Ryū. Just then Ryū heard a
loud bang and a flash of bright light appeared in front of him. Soon Beardy
appeared in front of Ryū. “Who the hell are you…and nice entrance,” said Ryū.
“Beardy, long time no see eh,” cried Spotty. “Look, I came here to get Prince Ryū,
his people need him,” said Beardy. “Did this guy call me a prince,” asked Ryū.
“It’s time you know the truth about who you really are,” said Spotty. Ryū began
to look confused…but he was soon going to find out the origin of who he really
is!
