This is a field piece is
about the students at the legendary theatre and school, Second City in Chicago.
The piece could be ‘a day in the life’ of a Second City student or feature more
than one student. The field piece would
showcase the students’ work at the school as well as their life at home. This field piece would document the making of
a future star. Sample jokes: Many students go to Second City in search of
stardom! The really funny thing is, so
do their teachers. Second City actually makes more money off of their students
then their theatres, so why do we do we all think we will get jobs performing
at Second City?
